IT'S a tough job being a celebrity and having to maintain a perfect image at all times - even when the odds are stacked against you.
But sometimes even the biggest stars slip, fall down, get kicked in the face and wet themselves in front of a crowd of thousands of adoring fans.
Here we take a look at some of the best on stage mishaps to happen in recent years - including One Direction star Harry Styles getting pelted in the face with tampons, Kanye West coming over all Hitler, a fresh-faced Professor Green falling off stage and a member of Jedward breaking his leg.

Nicki woke up the USA with this perky display on a breakfast TV show.
The fiery female rapper was performing on Good Morning America when her nipple popped out for some early-hours air, giving fans an extra-special break of day treat.
Ever since the embarassing episode Nicki has regularly worn plasters over her nipples underneath her skimpy stage clothing to protect her modesty from further outings.

Back in 2005 Black Eyed Peas star Fegie fell victim to everybody's worst nightmare when she wet herself on stage.
Fergie didn't even try and explain her way out of the cringeworthy incident and simply admitted that when you gotta go, you gotta go.
She said: "We had to rush onstage before I had the chance to go to the restroom. It was a very embarrassing night for me."

Ex-Destiny's Child babe Kelly pushed the limits on her already barely-there outfit in a high-energy show when she was performing saucy song Motivation at a US nightclub.
The gorgeous singer ended up completely exposing both of her breasts to the awestruck audience as her bondage-style stage gear lifted higher and higher the more animated she got.
Needless to say Motivation performed very well in the charts...

Harry Styles faced some slightly unusual adoration from fans when he was pelted with an interesting gift of choice during a One Direction show.
The teen was left in a daze when he was struck in the face by a few well-aimed tampons from the audience.
Needless to say Harry wasn't too impressed with the whole situation looking suitably disgusted as he surveyed the floor around him.

A young Stephen Manderson - aka Professor Green - made his way in the world as a very successful battle rapper, where he won huge cash prizes - including the £50,000 Jump Off tournament - for his lyrical prowess against contenders across the globe.
However this particular heat didn't go so well for the plucky east-londoner, he was mid-flow when he was interrupted by the stage ending - and the floor coming up to meet his face.
Pro very quickly regained his footing though and went on to win the battle.

Kiss have always been well known for their crazy on stage antics, but nobody expected this smoking show put on by rocker Gene.
The bassist was pulling off a fire-eating stunt when it got out of hand and his wild mane went up in flames.
Gene later claimed that he realised his big error had been applying highly flammable hairspray to his fuzzy locks before the gig.

She was hide cursing and saying she was in so much pain she couldn't feel a thing. That will be the head injury talking...

When Kanye West appeared at The Big Chill he was anything but relaxed, launching into a weird and wonderful rant about his likeness to a Nazi.
The US rapper had a friendly chat with the crowd in between tracks - and told them he is often treated like Hitler.
He said: "I walk through the hotel and I walk down the street and people look at me like I'm f***ing insane, like I'm Hitler."

Energetic pop act Jedward were giving it their all on stage at T4 On the Beach when an awkward jump sent Edward tumbling to the ground.
He eventually clambered up and carried on with the duo's strenuous routines whilst hopping on one leg, visibly struggling to put any weight on the limb, with his twin brother John asking: "You've hurt your leg. Are you all right man?"
When the show did finish he was taken to hospital in an ambulance and given strong pain relief as he underwent an MRI scan to determine the damage.
